The final pour

The last big concrete pour in the construction of the new Cannon Valley Quad chairlift happened today as two trucks filled the bottom column of the bottom terminal with a two trucks and a pump. On top of this column will sit the bull wheel and bottom gantry of the new chairlift.  Pretty soon now, we’ll turn over the majority of the remaining work on the lift construction to the Doppelmayer crew. Really exciting to see this new quad chairlift take shape on the east side of the Village!

Pouring the bottom terminal footings

A lot of ready mix was poured today thanks to our friends at Four Corners in Hastings, MN. Close to 30 yards from three trucks to be exact as we poured one of the footings for the bottom terminal area of the new chairlift. 

We are still in schedule with the new lift project. There will be one more additional pour for the bottom terminal area and the two pours for two more towers. That will conclude a huge phase of this project.
